Isak was at the centre of the summer's biggest transfer drama after Liverpool lodged a £110 million ($150m) bid for the Sweden international. Newcastle knocked that offer back, public statements were issued by the player and club as the situation turned sour. But the Magpies found a suitable replacement in Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart and Isak was granted his wish and eventually moved to Anfield for a British-record £125m ($169m).
