Jose Mourinho's next club?! Second-tier Saudi side target legendary Portuguese coach ahead of promotion

Saudi second-tier club Al-Qadsiah are eyeing a move for Jose Mourinho in the summer as they look to secure promotion to the Saudi Pro League.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The legendary Portuguese manager has been without a job since Roma parted ways with him in January. Since then, he has been linked with a move to several clubs and now, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Saudi Arabian second-division side Al-Qadsiah are reportedly keen on appointing Mourinho as their next boss.

    Qadsiah are currently leading the second-tier title race by nine points and are favourites to win the league and secure promotion to the Saudi Pro League. The Aramco-owned club reportedly have big ambitions for the 2024-25 campaign and are accordingly keen on appointing the former Chelsea and Manchester United coach. The 61-year-old is due to meet the club officials in Khobar later this month.
