WHAT HAPPENED?
According to Bild journalist, Christian Falk, the former Bayern Munich manager is in negotiations for the England manager job. This comes less than a day after the Three Lions, managed by interim boss Lee Carsley, lost 2-1 to Greece in the Nations League.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Carsley cast doubt on his England future after saying he would "hopefully" go back to managing the under-21s, but that the Greece loss would have "almost no impact" on his chances of getting the senior role permanently. Tuchel has been linked with the England job before – one that Gareth Southgate successfully presided over for nearly eight years. Whether the Football Association try to secure Tuchel's services remains to be seen.
